We are currently in search of a seasoned professional to fulfill the position of Accounting Operational Manager.
Role Overview
This role involves leading and overseeing teams responsible for reconciliation, integration, or operational accounting monitoring processes. The objective is to ensure that all operations are executed promptly while adhering to relevant regulations and global standards. You will provide guidance to personnel within your area and across other departments regarding operational accounting reconciliation processes. Additionally, you will implement and uphold controls within reconciliation processes to ensure compliance with established guarantees.
Your responsibilities will include administrative management, which entails setting and executing clear objectives, conducting performance evaluations for team members, ensuring adequate training and knowledge levels, and maintaining an appropriate staffing capacity for the processes. You will also participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing accounting processes, designing innovative workflows or tools that promote efficiency and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, you will organize and coordinate efforts related to projects that necessitate new operational-accounting reconciliation models. You will ensure timely resolution of findings identified during internal and external audits and actively engage in the reconciliation automation project, leveraging your skills in configuring existing automated tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise accounting processes to ensure the accurate and timely resolution of operational or accounting discrepancies, escalating issues as necessary. Provide guidance to staff on reconciliation processes and assist in conflict resolution. Establish and maintain an operational risk management and internal control framework within your area, ensuring the presence of controls and training for the team. Plan and sustain an adequate staffing capacity for effective reconciliation processes. Direct the team to ensure efficient processes while meeting commitments and objectives. Engage in projects related to new processes, process modifications, or regulatory matters. Assess staff performance. Deliver presentations on topics pertinent to the Reconciliation Area.Required Qualifications:
Coordination of work teams for project participation while ensuring compliance with operational guarantees. Advanced knowledge in Accounting. Proficient in Office applications. Intermediate project management skills. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Proficiency in key Office software: Excel, Word, PPT, Visio. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.-
