Aerospace Director of Manufacturing Engineering

Chromalloy is a global engineering company providing solutions for the aerospace industry. We develop, manufacture, and repair critical turbine components for various engine platforms, supporting the engines running the aerospace, energy, and defense industries worldwide.

As a Senior Director of Aerospace Engineering Manufacturing, you will lead the functions of the Engineering Department, Technicians, and other technical team members at the site. Your responsibilities will include leading development projects through to the production phase, allocating assets and manpower, evaluating and monitoring costs and expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the functions of the Engineering Department, Technicians, and other technical team members at the site.
  • Lead development projects through to the production phase, allocating assets and manpower, evaluating and monitoring costs and expenses.
  • Lead and develop solutions integrating technical expertise, robust problem-solving methodologies, and fostering a culture of innovation to improve the performance of the site.
  • Oversee, monitor, and improve functional capability to drive performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in aerospace or industrial gas turbine engine engineering, with a BS Engineering minimum (Mechanical or Aerospace).
  • Proven leadership skills in a complex and high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English and Mexican Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
