Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at Alcon. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our network security infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and other security technologies.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure seamless communication between systems.
  • Develop and maintain configuration standards for firewalls and other security platforms.
  • Perform testing and verification to ensure firewall policies are effective and efficient.
  • Provide escalation support for Zscaler Internet Access cloud proxy service and Zscaler Private Access remote access service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and diagrams of network configurations, operating procedures, and service records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of applicable experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in network security, with a focus on firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and other security technologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with business customers and technical teams.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, understand, and communicate complex technical information.
