The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Order Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Order Operations group, this person will be responsible for reviewing customer contract documentation and initiating the customer order process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform an initial review of order-related documentation, including contracts, customer purchase orders, and professional services proposals, to ensure all required documentation is provided and complete.
- Conduct a quality review of customer-submitted documents to ensure they align with AspenTech policies and are accurately reflected in our systems.
- Coordinate the resolution of discrepancies with our field teams and ensure timely resolution or make corrections internally to avoid extended hold periods for customer orders.
- Prepare various customer documentation for review and signature by our VP, Revenue Recognition.
- Process countersigned customer agreements to establish Professional Services Projects and Customer orders.
- Remediate quotes to facilitate the processing of customer orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Act as a subject matter expert in support of process improvement activities.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working in an administration or customer service role.
- College degree preferred.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work well with limited supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
