Role Overview

Joining Intuitive Surgical means becoming part of a team committed to leveraging technology to benefit patients by enhancing surgical effectiveness and reducing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our utmost priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business processes, conduct fit-gap analyses as necessary, and provide ISI business teams with cost-effective proposals addressing inefficiencies and risks to determine suitable process and system designs.
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
  • Perform unit and integration testing as well as regression testing.
  • Support ISI's production processes and all related business systems functions.
  • Collaborate with ISI IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions.
  • Identify gaps between current and future states of business processes and assist in prioritizing opportunities for improvement through the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
  • Participate in business user meetings to gather process information for effective system solutions.
  • Collaborate and provide insights to the development team during the development phase to meet business needs.
  • Assist business teams with reporting requirements in conjunction with the data warehouse team.
  • Conduct quality assurance validations and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support, assist, and train users on new modified system configurations, highlighting the impact on business processes.
  • Maintain IT business system integrity, application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates.
  • Work closely with onsite teams, offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Follow the Intuitive change management process and analyze the impact of changes to the corporate application landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and configuring PP modules with knowledge of key integrations between other SAP modules (MM and QM experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience in Manufacturing, MRP (planning), Demand management, and Inventory management.
  • Proven track record of implementing repetitive manufacturing business processes supporting make-to-order and stock-to-order processes.
  • Prior experience with global organizations and multilingual environments.
  • Production Execution: Should be very hands-on with Production Planning Master Data, Production Order Types, and Production Order and Process Order Confirmation.
  • Working knowledge of PP/MM/WM integration and configuration for Discrete/Repetitive/Rework/Process Order execution.
  • Experience working with business end users, gathering requirements, and building detailed functional design specifications.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Able to work independently while considering cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
