UKG Configuration Senior Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled UKG Configuration Senior Analyst to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our workforce management team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the Advanced Scheduling features of our Workforce Management software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and create solutions to scheduling configuration requests.
  • Setup and maintenance of Advanced Scheduling access, including creation of appropriate access groups.
  • Create, build, maintain, support, and troubleshoot all necessary technical infrastructure related to UKG Advanced Scheduler.
  • Perform Advanced Scheduler and Timekeeper support, configuration, and project work as needed across the system.
  • Lead planning, discovery, construction, validation, implementation, and cutover activities for all future Advanced Scheduling upgrades and rollouts.
  • Responsible for planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation, providing input to the sequence of activities related to scheduling.
  • Takes on special projects as assigned relating to Kronos upgrade, conversion, configuration change, or efficiency improvements.
  • Must understand how the enterprise systems work.
  • Must be able to recognize a system's key performance indicators and actions required to improve its performance. Critical thinking and problem-solving are crucial traits.
  • Work with end users, Information Technology support staff, and UKG Global Support to troubleshoot problems and resolve application issues.
  • Participate in the development of testing scenarios and testing scripts; participates in application unit level and integrated testing, as well as user acceptance testing support.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Build knowledge of the organization, processes, customers, and product end-users.
  • Leverage and follow Enterprise standard tools and processes, establishing robust traceability and audit process for integrations.
  • Assist in Knowledge Transfer sessions to stakeholders and DEV/SEC/OPS sustain team at the completion of build and deployment.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years administration/application experience designing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining in UKG-Workforce Central V8.1, including Timekeeping, Accruals, and Scheduling.
  • 2+ years experience working with cloud solutions.
  • 3+ years experience administering Advanced Scheduling (UKG Dimensions).
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience implementing Kronos/UKG workforce management solutions, including Timekeeper, Accruals, and Scheduling.
  • Must be experienced in crewing, labor planning, and plant and warehouse operations to support the design of various schedule types, patterns, and shifts.
  • Ability to analyze data and system concerns by applying analytical skills and efficiently communicate findings and design solutions using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or other tools.
  • Prior knowledge or experience with HRIS and Payroll systems.
Non-Tech Skills:
  • Should have a sound or general understanding of project management activities and methodologies.
  • Works well under guidance and direction.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced within own functional discipline or business unit and willing to learn and expand.
  • Experience working with 3rd party resources and vendors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with various teams, various business units directly or indirectly and IT users, ability to listen to the end user requirements and take appropriate action based on PepsiCo's guidelines, a problem solver.
  • Ability to coach and problem-solve a range of scheduling, timekeeper, accruals, and access questions as they arise.
