Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team at Knorr-Bremse. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality electronics components from global suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Commodity Management team to develop and execute procurement strategies that meet our business needs.
  • Source and procure electronics components from a global supply base, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms that benefit our business.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with our quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with our Supply Chain team to improve delivery times and reduce costs.
  • Provide regular reports to executive management on supplier performance, market trends, and procurement metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Electrical Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics sourcing and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, purchasing, and supplier quality.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
