Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic business leader to oversee the food and beverage/culinary operation at The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City. As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental strategies, ensuring the brand's service strategy and initiatives are implemented, and driving revenue growth and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain food and beverage/culinary goals, including setting expectations and holding leadership teams accountable for desired service behaviors.
  • Review financial reports and statements to determine departmental performance against budget, and make recommendations for CAPEX funding of equipment and renovations.
  • Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage the food and beverage budget, monitoring actual and projected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, with 6 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or a related field.
  • Or, 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
