Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead the testing of projects related to Transformation and BAU programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall Book of Work, Costing, Resourcing, and continuous process of Test processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of testing projects, ensuring timely completion of milestones and budget.
  • Lead a team of testers, managing their tasks, internal trainings, control, and reporting to Senior Management.
  • Execute people leadership functions, including absence and holiday leave, remuneration, and performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and project implementation for the team and whole unit.
  • Ensure cohesion between different internal functions and teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, enforcing the quality of the Citi service.
  • Build effective relationships with production/BAU Front End, Middle Office, and Back End Systems globally.
  • Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting for testing assignments.
  • Drive automation approaches for various types of testing (SIT, UAT, etc.) for web/UI and database applications.
  • Estimate and plan milestones for projects, providing estimates for UAT.
  • Ensure deliverables are managed within defined timelines.
  • Highlight risks and issues at management level.
  • Liaise with a diverse range of business and technology functions, both within the bank and with key vendors.
  • Prepare Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, and Test Coverage analysis for testing assignments.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and other groups in preparation and execution of planned functional testing.
  • Play a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, working closely with business, technology, and support areas.
  • Assist in the reception and quality assurance of business requirements, solution design, and business process documents for individual projects.
  • Develop and extend collaborative working relationships with clients, technology suppliers, and operational support areas.
  • Participate in peer reviews of Test Approaches, Test Plans, Test Conditions, and Test Scripts.
  • Contribute to the on-going development of test strategy and policy within the Testing Programme.
  • Track the schedule and testing progress, being accountable for tasks and releases.
  • Manage client meetings and defect calls independently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in leading multiple high-priority complex testing projects.
  • Extensive knowledge, experience, and exposure in Front End, Middle, and Back End Systems, preferably in Trade and Treasury Services.
  • Numerate, computer literate, with the ability to understand new systems quickly.
  • Detailed practical experience of the use of JIRA, Zephyr, and Automation tools like Selenium, Python.
  • Sound knowledge on Trade and Treasury Services Systems.
  • Exposure to global client and understanding of global work culture.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and service commitment.
  • Ability to handle pressure, work independently, and in a team environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Innovative approach to work and continuously identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Strong organizational, networking, and managerial skills.
  • Ability to influence change at different levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.

Education: Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
