Scope of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects related to internal activities and site preparation prior to the installation of new machinery or facilities modification. They will report directly to the Project Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • New installations inspection and validation
  • Follow-up on new equipment or machinery installation
  • Preparation of new machinery or equipment requirements
  • Equipment installation or uninstallation activities
  • Development or improvement of machinery and equipment devices or control elements
  • Design or modification of machinery parts using dedicated software
  • Reparation or diagnosis of machinery and equipment when required
  • Interaction with other areas to coordinate activities when necessary
  • Saving projects detection and implementation
  • Suppliers activities follow-up

Accountability and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring timely validation of new projects, completing assigned activities on time and in full, reporting on savings project implemented results, and adhering to EHS rules.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance area
  • Experience in automation implementation projects
  • Proficiency in software for programming and mechanical design

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluency in both written and oral English
  • Knowledge of injection molding and mold design/development
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement
  • Project management software skills

Leadership Skills

  • Ability to integrate changes and provide technical assistance and training to other areas
  • Capacity to build a positive and inclusive team environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and act decisively
  • Capacity to foster cooperative actions and manage activities between areas
