Job Summary

FedEx Express México is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Handler to join our team. As an Operations Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Package Handling: Manually handle packages, perform sort activities, and screen packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.
  2. Documentation and Administration: Prepare and maintain accurate paperwork, including airway bills, delivery records, and vehicle condition reports.
  3. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by seeking additional business from current customers and informing Station Ops. Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts.
  4. Vehicle Operations: Safely load and unload company aircraft and vehicles, and perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, washing, and tire pressure checks.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
Requirements
  1. Education: Middle School degree or equivalent preferred.
  2. Experience: Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
  3. Skills: Basic English skills, ability to lift 70 lbs, and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  4. Personal Qualities: Accuracy and attention to detail, planning and organizing skills, problem-solving skills, and team working skills.
