This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the activities of multiple departments within our manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of salaried and union associates.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in manufacturing, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and schedule work effectively. They must also have problem-solving skills to provide workable solutions in a fast-paced factory environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the effectiveness of several departments throughout the plant and achieve production objectives through efficient utilization of assigned personnel, materials, and equipment per Engineering Standards.
- Communicate expectations of departmental associates directly to Foremen and facilitate understanding and acceptance of expectations with daily/weekly/monthly reviews and continuous monitoring of performance results.
- Provide leadership and direction for operational salary and hourly people assigned to the operation, including performance evaluations for Production Foremen and approval of performance evaluations initiated by Production Foremen.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical background in manufacturing, with knowledge of engineering standards and procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to speak, write, and understand English fluently.
