**Job Summary**

Corning Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing activities and drive efficient operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the performance of individuals and teams of associates who assemble components or process raw materials into finished products in an industrial environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Productivity Analysis and Improvement Plans**: Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
  • **Staffing and Capacity Planning**: Ensure that staff capacity and equipment align with demand, and maintain up-to-date capacity levels in our SAP system.
  • **Data-Driven Decision Making**: Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions to drive business results.
  • **Leadership and Team Management**: Lead daily Core Team meetings, guide the core team to meet and exceed business unit goals and metrics, and maintain close surveillance over manufacturing activities through reports and continuous feedback.
  • **Cost Management**: Manage budgets, personnel, equipment, and facilities to optimize costs and achieve stretch cost target goals.
  • **Process Improvement**: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, and lead and participate in TPM and Lean activities to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • **Safety and Compliance**: Maintain a safe culture and clean work environment in compliance with established policies, procedures, and 5's culture.
  • **Professional Development**: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
