The Role
This position will support the timely and accurate customer invoicing and revenue recognition in Ams' accounting ledger. The role will take over responsibilities from the Performance Management team, administering sales orders and ensuring proper invoicing.
Key Accountabilities
- Review client contracts to manage invoicing properly and timely.
- Validate and consolidate source data from ATS.
- Extract and validate D365/PowerBI reports to capture billable and non-billable expenses.
- Create sales orders in Decisions (Ams Invoicing Tool) in a timely and accurate manner, recognizing contractual terms and invoicing requirements.
- Support proper and timely recognition of accrued revenue.
- Contribute to Ams' cash position and accurate forecasting.
- Communicate with global account teams.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Accounting teams.
- Support Sales Order Manager and be a point of contact for Sales Order Specialists and Coordinators.
- Take ownership of high-complexity accounts.
- Participate in active projects, including process handovers and continuous improvements.
Skills & Experience
Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Proficiency in extracting, analyzing, and summarizing numerical transactional data, including experience in data analysis in MS Excel.
- Ability to understand contractual terms impacting customer invoicing value and timeline.
- Ability to work with changing priorities and follow changing processes reflecting current business and customer needs.
- Solid understanding of services offered by Ams.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience working in a multinational corporate environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Experience using ATS, Decisions, or MS D365.
- Experience working with Performance Management teams or CST.
- Ability to follow country-specific processes for producing invoices in different local jurisdictions.
- Cross-functional knowledge to understand how activities impact profitability, accounting, cash management, and local reporting needs.
