Sgf Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions using Windows and VMware technologies.
- Manage and maintain our virtualization environment, including vSphere systems administration, performance tuning, and operations.
- Provide expert-level support for our Windows and VMware environments, including troubleshooting, debugging, and system recovery.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
Requirements:
- At least 9+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Windows and VMware technologies.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
- Expert-level knowledge of vSphere systems administration, performance tuning, and operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with vMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, vCenter, Storage migration, and P2V migration.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of DNS and AD integration.
- Experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, and Active Directory management.
- Understanding of clustering with Windows and updating Windows using Windows Update or WSUS servers.
- Experience with backup tools and management.
- Knowledge of UCS Blade Systems and EMC storage.
