About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Manager to join our team at Bwi Group. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all global foreign trade regulations and free trade agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Bwi Group before the authorities as the customs legal representative in Mexico
- Perform routine and focused compliance audits as needed
- Train and develop the MX customs team; maintain high performance and morale
- CTPAT/OEA oversight
- Annual budget, RFQs as needed, and various fiduciary responsibilities
- Produce standard metrics and reports
- Broker management; develop and measure to KPI's
- Serve on the plant manager's staff and support all functional teams with customs
Requirements:
- Engineering degree
- 5 years of experience as manager position
- Experience in Automotive industry
