About the Role

Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Finance Manager to join its fast-growing Retail business in Mexico. As a key member of the Retail Finance team, you will have full ownership of the P&L Account of the divisions you will be supporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead support for Mexico Categories, including financial analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate with central FP&A and local teams to support planning and closing processes.
  • Analyze and explain current and historic performance, providing effective commercial business challenge to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are achieved or beaten.
  • Deliver consistent accuracy in predicting financial performance.
  • Finance controllership of the business unit area you will be supporting and continuous development of efficient reporting tools to support decision-making.
  • Provide analytical support, such as the evaluation of business proposals, and drive ad-hoc cross-functional projects.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience.
  • 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
  • 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
  • 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
  • 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience.
  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business experience.
  • MBA or CPA.
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems.
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
