Process Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and drive productivity at Branson de Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure processes meet required specifications and standards.
  • New Process Implementation: Design and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure that equipment is functioning correctly and that preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes and equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
  • Cost Improvement Projects: Generate, analyze, develop, and implement cost improvement projects.
  • Safety: Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, quality control, or manufacturing operations.
  • Skills: Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven track record of process improvement initiative.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Language: Intermediate proficiency in English (ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management: Experience in project management is an advantage but not required.
  • Travel: Availability to travel within the USA and Mexico.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • CAD Tools: Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically Solid Edge.
