Unlock Your Potential as a Windows Senior DevOps Engineer

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Windows Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) for high availability and disaster recovery. Your expertise in Active Directory, Privilege Access Management (PAM), and cloud services will be crucial in ensuring the security and scalability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Windows Clustering solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and domain controller configuration.
  • Manage Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions to ensure secure access to critical systems and data.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Utilize DataKeeper for synchronous and asynchronous replication to ensure data redundancy and high availability.
  • Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of system administration tasks and process improvements.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to manage and secure Windows environments effectively.
  • Configure and manage MSSQL clusters to ensure database availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Windows environments, including performance bottlenecks, system failures, and security breaches.
  • Implement and manage Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) solutions and administer Globalscape for secure data transfer and storage.
  • Design, deploy, and manage distributed Windows-based systems to support business applications and services.
  • Maintain relevant Microsoft certifications to ensure up-to-date knowledge and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to harden Windows servers and network infrastructure against potential threats.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and configuration management processes.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, procedures, and changes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 10-12+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience in Windows Clustering, Active Directory, PAM, Azure, GCP, and other listed technologies.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
  • In-depth understanding of Windows Server hardening techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA).
  • Azure/GCP industry certification
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
