About the Role

SAP Se is seeking a highly skilled Windows Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) for high availability and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) solutions for high availability and disaster recovery
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory (AD) services, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and domain controller configuration
  • Manage Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions to ensure secure access to critical systems and data
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and compliance
  • Utilize DataKeeper for synchronous and asynchronous replication to ensure data redundancy and high availability
  • Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of system administration tasks and process improvements
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to manage and secure Windows environments effectively
  • Configure and manage MSSQL clusters to ensure database availability, performance, and reliability
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Windows environments, including performance bottlenecks, system failures, and security breaches
  • Implement and manage Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) solutions and administer Globalscape for secure data transfer and storage
  • Design, deploy, and manage distributed Windows-based systems to support business applications and services
  • Maintain relevant Microsoft certifications to ensure up-to-date knowledge and adherence to best practices
  • Implement security measures and best practices to harden Windows servers and network infrastructure against potential threats
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and configuration management processes
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, procedures, and changes
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Years of related experience
  • Proven experience in Windows Clustering, Active Directory, PAM, Azure, GCP, and other listed technologies
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
  • In-depth understanding of Windows Server hardening techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Azure/GCP industry certification
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional automation tools and scripting languages
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
