We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Director to join our team at Univision Communications Inc. as a key member of the Streaming Services business unit.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare executive-level presentation materials for finance reviews, including analysis and tracking of expense and revenue-related risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with the VP, Production Finance, and team to develop and execute a vision for a world-class production finance team, including systems implementation, policy, and procedures.
- Be a strategic partner to executive management, content and production leaders, and studio in LATAM, protecting company assets through cash management, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the legal and content team on third-party contracts and effectively manage production portfolio cost forecasting and operational cash flow to support business needs.
- Manage and perform month-end close process, signing off on trial balance and monthly Management Financial Package, including variance explanations.
- Ensure reconciliations between production accounting, Costs Reports, and Oracle are accurate.
- Perform production market comparative and trend analysis and present key metrics, benchmark, and dashboards.
- Communicate and manage production budgets, cost reports, trial balances, and petty cash reconciliations prepared by third-party producers.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- +10 years of experience in production finance, with leadership experience and managing teams motivated by passion to exceed expectations and continuously improve.
- Exercise sound judgment and solution-focused approach.
You are a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment, has outstanding analytical, accounting, organizational, and communication skills. You must be a creative thinker, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas.
