Job Summary

The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in the financial leadership of PayJoy, overseeing all financial operations and driving strategic financial planning. This executive will be responsible for providing financial guidance to the Country Manager and executive team, developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability objectives, and ensuring the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the Country Manager and executive team to meet financial targets and improve margins and return on invested capital.
  • Accounting & Compliance: Work closely with PayJoy Mexico's accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulations.
  • Capital Markets: Develop and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions, monitoring the company's capital structure and optimizing capital allocation.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis function to support strategic decision-making, overseeing the development of financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, capital markets, and financial planning.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial management and capital raising.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders.
