Job Title: Director Warehousing
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Director Warehousing to lead our logistics operations in Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our warehouse, transportation, and international logistics operations, ensuring that we deliver a consistent service level to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for warehouse, transportation, international logistics (import/export) and co-packing operations
- Ensure the implementation of the business plan by delivering a consistent service level, adapting the supply chain to the demanding and changing customer environment and ensuring sufficient operational capacity to deliver business needs
- Lead the strategy of storage and transportation of the Mondelez Snacking Mexico business, with refrigerated (2 to 7 °C), temperature controlled (16 to 2 °C) and dry categories and multiple production plants nationwide
- Be accountable for delivering logistics operational cost budget, ensuring that best-in-class controls and governance are in place
- Foster, initiate and lead continuous improvement programs that reduce cost and our carbon footprint and improve the service performance of the operation
- Select, manage and develop long-term relationships with third-party service providers
- Ensure adherence to health and safety, quality, food defense and legal requirements and policies
- Establish a business continuity plan for logistics operations
- Support best-practices sharing and adoption
Requirements:
- 10 to 12 years of related experience
- Experience in own operations as well as with 3PL - Negotiation
- Finance Acumen, understanding of cost structures, related to in-house and outsourced operations
- Union Management - Negotiation
- Development and implementation of large projects, such as new distribution centers, CAPEX proposals, technology models
- Implementation of support tools such as ERP, Warehouse Management System, Oracle Transportation Management, Yard Management System, Control Tower
- Advanced English
- Experience leading teams remotely
