Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Inside Sales professional to join our team at Azbil North America, Inc. As a Technical Inside Sales representative, you will provide technical sales and customer support for industrial automation and instrumentation products to direct customers, fulfillment/production team, and manufacturer's representatives and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical sales support, applications engineering support, and basic product training for fulfillment/production team, Sales channel partners, and customers.
- Utilize the Salesforce environment to proactively track customer and channel partner communications, applicable pricing, and history until PO is received.
- Review all new orders for accuracy and ensure technology is applied correctly, contacts the customer if there are questions regarding the order.
- Troubleshoot customer returned RMAs, sends an intake report to the customer with recommendations of items to repair including cost and delivery.
- Support the Sales strategic initiatives within the Americas to ensure all goals are met.
Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience in instrumentation or industrial automation field products.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience working with companies who manufacture equipment.
- Experience in supporting both domestic and international customer accounts.
- Understanding of digital customer engagement and sales process, interacting with potential and existing customers through various digital channels to build your relationship with them.
Physical Demands:
While performing this position, the employee must be able to and will regularly operate a computer, keyboard, and phone. Must be able to sit at a desk for an extended period. Must be able to travel to customer locations – 5% or less.
Education:
BS in Engineering or similar technical disciplines (preferred). Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (required).
