**Job Summary:**

We're seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services by collaborating with suppliers, conducting audits, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Participate in Product Delivery Process (PDP) teams as the Supplier Quality representative, ensuring quality activities and plans are formulated and followed.
  • Apply and lead Quality tools in Product Delivery Process (PDP) teams, including Design Process and Assembly Reviews (DPARs), print reviews, and design reviews of new products.
  • Control and validate quality activities for part approval and confirm supplier process capability.
  • Investigate unit supplier quality-related issues and concerns related to product and processes, gather and analyze data, resolve/facilitate resolution, and implement corrective action.
  • Investigate supplier quality problems, validate root cause for quality problems, gather and analyze data, and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate non-value waste resulting from non-conformances, scrap, or reclaim.
  • Lead in identifying, communicating, and resolving supplier quality problems, engage in supplier quality plan formulation, and conduct audits of new and existing suppliers to determine manufacturing capability and adherence to accepted quality practices.

**Requirements:**

  • Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy, and style.
  • Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities.
  • Knowledge of standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis, Statistics.
  • Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
  • Experience with problem management with suppliers.
  • Fluent English required.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Knowledge of SAE/AISI Steel Grades, Properties, and Specifications.
  • Supplier Audits certification.

**Education:**

Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
