Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to our staff and customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of SEL processes and technologies, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
- Perform thorough testing on new and existing technologies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Document and communicate test results, providing clear and concise recommendations for future development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills, effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assume new responsibilities and learn new skills, adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
- Experience in programming and script files, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
- Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers, with experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
- Ability to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software, with a strong understanding of operating system fundamentals.
- Practical knowledge of SEL protective relays and automation controllers, with experience in configuration, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to use Microsoft Visio, with a strong understanding of diagramming and visualization principles.
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills, with experience in communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
