About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Configuration Specialist to join our World-Wide Operations team at Palo Alto Networks. As a Product Configuration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of product documentation, as well as the effective management of engineering change orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product documentation, including engineering change orders, bills of materials, and product specifications.
- Coordinate and lead change control review meetings to ensure compliance with document control processes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for change control and document control processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation of product changes.
- Maintain accurate data in document control databases and related change management tracking sheets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct experience in document administration in a hi-tech environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Arena PLM system and/or an equivalent PLM tool.
- Experience with system administration tasks, such as updating and maintaining workspace settings, testing updates, UI testing, and implementation.
- Extensive experience supporting engineering, manufacturing operations, suppliers, and EMS partners.
- Ability to read and understand complex bills of materials and associated engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Familiarity with materials planning and production processes.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An organized self-starter, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
