As a member of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) in Latin America, under the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will address analytical challenges for a wide range of customers including those in industries like pharmaceuticals, biotech, government sectors, and more. We deliver robust instruments and services designed for lab, production, and field settings, enabling precision and reliability across various industries.

We employ a market approach that includes a dedicated team of direct salespeople, along with a network of resellers and distributors. This role is stationed at our Mexico City headquarters on Avenida Insurgentes.

Your responsibilities will include generating sales leads through efficient marketing initiatives, developing impactful marketing materials and tools, and staying current on effective customer outreach methods. You will transform marketing needs into actionable strategies and outcomes, focusing on the following key duties:

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the crafting and executing a comprehensive annual marketing plan and budget in collaboration with the global downstream marketing team and commercial teams.
  • Liaise with the Thermo Fisher global marketing team to stay updated on the latest marketing tools, guidelines, and standards.
  • Produce and distribute marketing materials, gimmicks, and campaign assets for both traditional and digital platforms to foster customer engagement and lead generation.
  • Grow and enhance the customer database.
  • Organize both physical and online marketing events for the company and its partners.
  • Facilitate internal communications, events, and activities.
  • Manage sales leads across all sources and integrate them into Salesforce.
  • Evaluate marketing strategies (through pre and post-campaign analysis, customer insights, etc.) to refine and enhance marketing efforts.
  • Partner with external vendors to ensure campaign success and task completion.
  • Establish metrics to measure marketing campaign effectiveness.

This role requires over two years of experience in a business setting, managing multiple projects with a proven ability to meet deadlines and budgets. Experience in organizing events and attention to detail are essential.

A willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing tools is important. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Eloqua, or similar software is required. Creativity, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and teamwork skills are also essential.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
