Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Buscojobs México. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise production staff in the execution of established work instructions, cleaning and hygiene procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a positive team-based working environment that promotes excellence and quality.
- Provide training and support to ensure all personnel are properly trained to perform their job, with documented training records.
- Oversee and assist with all personnel safety aspects of the manufacturing department, ensuring safe work practices are adhered to.
- Assist with all equipment maintenance requirements to ensure a safe work environment and high overall equipment effectiveness.
- Evaluate and escalate equipment faults beyond production operators' capabilities to the Manufacturing Engineering team as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet relevant company goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA/QSR regulations.
- Ensure adequate raw materials are available at each workstation to complete daily assembly tasks.
- Conduct performance reviews for team members.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish at a professional level.
- Excellent mechanical and/or electromechanical skills, with an inherent understanding of electromechanical devices and troubleshooting abilities.
- Previous supervisory experience in an ISO environment is ideal, with FDA-related experience a plus.
- Leadership skills to teach, train, and lead others in the manufacturing process.
- Ability to use measuring devices, work with small components, and record detailed information.
- Experience developing work instructions, procedures, and implementing those instructions is ideal.
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office products and ERP are required.
