Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Integration Specialist to join our team at Ecoplexus, Inc. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual early in their career, who is passionate about renewable energy and eager to contribute to the development and execution of interconnection projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and management of interconnection projects from inception to completion.
  • Support the Transmission Analytics team in analyzing grid data, identifying potential issues, and developing solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and utility companies, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and technical standards.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and presentations related to interconnection projects.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project status, and assisting in resolving any issues that arise.
  • Conduct research on interconnection policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure our projects are aligned with industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of applications and permits required for interconnection processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the interconnection and transmission analytics teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools related to power systems and grid analysis.
  • Experience or knowledge using load flow applications such as PowerWorld, PSSE, TARA is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Prior education or experience in project management is a plus.
