Job Summary:

We are seeking a Strategic Portfolio Director to lead our portfolio management initiatives. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for driving flawless execution of our projects, ensuring they meet their financial, schedule, and resource targets.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have +8 years of experience managing a global portfolio with over 1000 projects. You will be responsible for creating and managing work teams, taking care of financial management, value-based project prioritization, and high-level resource capacity management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive strategic decision-making through solid reporting on project status and implementation programs
* Ensure planning and actual transparency of 500+ projects across supported sub-project portfolios
* Categorize and prioritize initiatives to establish an optimal mix and sequence of projects and programs
* Balance resource allocation across projects and non-project work
* Negotiate resource demand and resolve capacity issues
* Maintain integrity of globally prioritized projects aligned with group and market strategies
* Evaluate and manage portfolio risk management
* Collaborate with senior leaders to understand resource needs and coordinate resolution of resource conflicts

Requirements:

+8 years of experience in portfolio management
* Knowledgeable about PMI-certified project management practices
* Experience with Management Of Portfolios (MoP) and Management of Value (MoV)
* Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate challenging stakeholders
* Ability to define and implement portfolio management processes covering technology, organization, shared services, and data
