Maritime Freight Sales Specialist

As a prominent American freight forwarder with 14 years of expertise in the international market, Carolina Logistics Inc offers comprehensive logistics solutions that seamlessly combine air, land, and ocean transportation services.
We are seeking an Account Executive specializing in the ocean freight industry who has a solid track record in ocean freight logistics and is adept at building client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in this industry.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field is required.
Professional Experience:
A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience as an Account Executive (Ocean Freight) or similar roles in logistics with a focus on ocean freight is necessary. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in this industry is essential.
Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of the ocean freight industry, including industry trends, regulations, and key players, is crucial.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, are necessary. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective client and colleague engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular online and offline meetings, ensuring effective presentation of our services to potential and existing clients, addressing client needs, and handling objections professionally.
Present proposals and close accounts effectively.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in ocean freight sectors.
Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions that align with our ocean freight services.
