Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Reservations Specialist to join our dynamic team at Tulum Villas. As a Reservations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting our guests with their bookings and ensuring a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about our services, policies, and promotions.
  • Process bookings, modifications, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our reservation system and utilize it effectively to manage bookings.
  • Handle guest inquiries and escalate any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and concierge services, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare and send booking agreements to direct bookings, ensuring all necessary details and terms are included.
  • Collect payments for deposits and balances on bookings, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
  • Proven experience as a Reservations Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Cloudbeds or similar reservation systems.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • A friendly and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Able to work weekends and some holidays.
