About the Job:
As a Logistics Transportation Coordinator at Littelfuse, you will be responsible for executing site-related logistics to develop and improve costs and processes, focusing on the performance of transportation management activities related to product delivery to factories and customers. You will be familiar with U.S. and Mexican Import/Export regulations and knowledge of hazardous shipping regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material flow in and out of the cross dock, ensuring accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure completion of all required documentation not provided by Piedras Negras and maintain all data and related records for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Oversee completion of pickup appointments, quoting hotshots, NFO, and dedicated carriers upon request.
- Be the primary Littelfuse contact for carriers, providing proper transportation instructions.
- Audit On Time Service response of forwarders, including timely monitoring of shipments in transit and reporting back to respective business units.
- Monitor carrier daily in-transit report to ensure on-time receiving.
- Coordinate and support Importations, receiving, and traffic, asking for additional support from IMPORT/EXPORT or Compliance Team if necessary.
- Service upgrades for late shipments as a result of border crossing delays, assistance on booking pickups for suppliers who cannot book on their side, and rerouting of materials shipped incorrectly.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with at least 4 years of experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Shipping, or Inventory Control. WMS experience is desired, and SAP experience is required. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of supervisory experience, bilingual skills in Spanish and English, and strong communication skills in both languages.
