Product Sales Advisor

Job Objective:

To serve as internal support for the vendor business leader, facilitating profitable market share expansion through effective business planning, pipeline oversight, and comprehensive sales floor and customer engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Business Unit and/or General sales floor, conducting desk training, tool education, and enhancing product awareness Assist in the formulation of strategies and concepts to promote business advancement Take ownership of maintaining a precise and detailed deal pipeline within the Company's CRM system Provide weekly updates to the vendor regarding sell-out activities, monitoring the effectiveness of promotional efforts and the deal pipeline Aid in the implementation of business strategies as directed by the business development manager Support the execution of marketing initiatives as outlined by the Marketing Manager Identify and address training needs within customer bases and internal sales teams Act as the escalation point for customer service concerns from the sales floor Guide the development and upkeep of web tools such as InTouch, Licensing Online, and vendor micro-sites Communicate product details, pricing, special promotions, and offers to customers and internal sales teams Organize call-out days on the sales floor and/or within the Business Unit sales teams Advocate for and promote Tech Data's e-business services through the sales floor and/or Business Unit sales teams Engage directly with customers as required by the role

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience. Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business-related field is essential. Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when necessary. Basic clerical and data entry skills are required Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency is crucial. Clear communication skills to convey necessary information effectively.
