Role Overview

Join Reckitt as our Automation Operations Manager, where you will lead all aspects of automation, instrumentation, and technological advancements within our manufacturing sectors. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that production lines consistently meet safety, quality, performance, customer service, and cost objectives. This role will empower you to make significant decisions and drive innovations that will shape the future of our industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all automation initiatives are executed safely and comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain automated equipment to prevent disruptions in production and implement best practices for technological improvements.
  • Support the implementation of new capital expenditure projects and lead related automation initiatives.
  • Oversee maintenance activities for PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, ensuring proper backup, restoration, and archiving of programming in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and lead training programs for the automation team to enhance skills in current and emerging technologies.
  • Analyze loss data and champion initiatives to improve equipment effectiveness and minimize waste.
  • Empower automation and maintenance teams to take ownership of their processes and improvement plans, ensuring KPI targets are met.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance leadership to develop and implement flexible work processes that achieve production KPIs.
  • Support all project scopes within your area to align with the plant's continuous improvement methodology and product development timelines.
  • Coordinate automation activities with engineering, operations, and materials teams to minimize unplanned operational interruptions.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality services to the business.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to drive production areas, ensuring compliance with quality standards and schedules while minimizing costs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience with programming, PMI, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and related technologies.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with local and functional leaders to implement strategies and projects successfully.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills to engage effectively with team members and management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English is required.
