About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and experienced Advanced Packaging Technology Innovation Engineer to join our team in Process Development. The ideal candidate will develop, configure, and optimize Package Assembly processes for Micron's memory products from pathfinding through NPI start-up. This includes side-by-side certification with Manufacturing teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing processes by knowledge and skills, taking measurements, and interpreting data. They will also work closely with Design teams to develop Assembly design rules, participate in design approvals (substrate and silicon), and run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced packaging technologies, including HBM and Flip Chip
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and optimize package assembly processes
  • Work closely with suppliers to drive innovation and improve product quality
  • Conduct supplier interactions and drive NDAs for new projects

We require experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related field, with hands-on experience in Semiconductor Packaging or Fab Frontend processes. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

What We Offer
