Job Description

This position involves working as a Design Verification Engineer at Micron, where you will contribute to the development of advanced DRAM products.

You will work closely with our global design teams to contribute to the success of the design team by applying verification tools and techniques, providing verification status and summaries to specific designs as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Fully understanding the design datasheet, including circuit design in detail and functionality and timing requirements of the circuitry.
  • Developing patterns and regressions to increase function coverage for all DRAM architectures and features.
  • Providing support to design engineers, debugging failures, managing bug tracking, and closing coverage.
  • Collaborating with international colleagues on developing new verification tools and flows to solve verification difficulties.
  • Developing and maintaining test benches and test vectors using digital and analog simulation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with emphasis on VLSI design and/or verification.
  • Fluent understanding of CMOS circuit design.
  • Familiarity with analog simulation methodology and tools, such as HSPICE and PRIMESIM.
  • Basic understanding of digital simulators, such as Verilog and methodologies (UVM or equivalent).
  • Good programming fundamentals with knowledge in Python programming is preferred.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Work experience in DRAM memory related fields is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
