Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Director to oversee the management of our maintenance staff, Preventive Maintenance planning for manufacturing equipment and facilities, job assignments and priorities for unplanned downtime events, maintenance staff procedures and training to ensure operational performance targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance staff and develop annual maintenance plans including preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, perform cost-benefit analyses, and understand financial statements.
  • Lead large-scale maintenance projects using project management software and methodologies.
  • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting facility operations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with contractors to minimize costs and ensure satisfactory standards of service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience or experience in a similar industry, 7+ years of prior and recent supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance management, engineering, or planning.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, Bridge Crane and Compressed Air Systems.
  • Strong understanding and experience with ERP/MRP systems required (AS400, SAP).
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
