We're looking for a seasoned SAP Basis System Administrator to join our team, bringing their expertise in cloud-based solutions to drive our business forward.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an integral member of our SAP Basis team, providing administration support to all SAP and peripheral systems and participating in 24/7 production support with minimal supervision.

You will be responsible for providing architectural support for various SAP upgrade and enhancement projects, including execution.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Install, configure, patch, upgrade, monitor, and perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of SAP systems, including SAP S/4, SAP MDG, SAP BRIM, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP SLT, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP SRM, SAP SCM, APO, Live Cache/Max DB, SAP GRC, SAP CRM, SAP LVM, SAP IQ, MDM, Catalog, EP, Solution Manager, and peripheral systems such as OpenText, Go3i, PGP encryption.
  • Leadership: Lead Proof of Concept and guide the team on new technologies.
  • Portal Management: Maintain and manage SAP Portal System.
  • Landscape Synchronization: Perform system copies and landscape synchronization.
  • Backup and Recovery: Manage backups and restores, disaster recovery, and high availability of systems.
  • Security: Manage and satisfy SOX and other audit controls.
  • Collaboration: Effectively interface and collaborate with other infrastructure teams: server, storage, and networking.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with SAP roadmaps, development, and OSS notes to improve the current platform.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain team documentation leading to best practices, standardization, and service desk support.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in SAP Basis administration, with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Experience working in a NetWeaver 7.0 or higher environment, with 5+ years of experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in S/4HANA, BRIM, and BW/4HANA environments.
  • 1+ year of experience supporting SAP in a cloud environment.
  • Minimum of five complete life-cycle implementations.
  • Experience with multiple SAP components, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SLT, SCM, APO, Live Cache/MaxDB, GRC, SRM, IQ, Portal, BTP, Fiori Launchpad, and CRM.
  • Experience with Enhancement Packages, ABAP, and Java stack administration, including system copies.
  • Experience supporting SAP in AWS cloud environment.
  • Advanced-level knowledge in managing SAP with HANA and/or DB2 databases, including backup, High Availability, and DR solutions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) Integration, Cloud Connector, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Experience with SAP HANA and/or DB2 databases and Unix/Linux administration concepts, as necessary for Basis work, including scripting in AWS Cloud and On-Premise environments.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with SOX and ITIL.

SAP certification.

Experience with AWS.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
