The primary objective of this role is to monitor and maintain the loading of external and internal files into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application on a daily, weekly, and period basis. This role also provides solutions when needed to maintain optimal ERP database and application performance as well as updated reporting tables.
Key Responsibilities- Business Process Analysis
- Learn customer business processes and gain an understanding of all data sources in order to accurately support post-production issues.
- System Maintenance and Administration
- Assist in system maintenance requests and work as a backup to administer data access security rights to users of ERP.
- Assist in installation of ERP upgrades including subsequent upgrades for security patches.
- Process Improvement and Automation
- Suggest ERP maintenance improvements and work as backup coordinator of daily/weekly/period routines and automation of processes as needed.
- Maintain updated documentation of all reconciliation types, scripts, SFTP/FTP, data storage, and server maintenance.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Ensure data sources for new bots (or modifications to existing bots' sources) are updated in our Disaster Recovery Plans for ERP.
- Design and develop automated ad-hoc reports for software applications as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in ERP system administration or equivalent.
- Project Management experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL server administration.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL programming.
- Intermediate knowledge of Visual Basic for scripting.
- Bilingual in Spanish & English (verbal & written).
- Experience with Trintech products: ReconNET, PeopleSoft, SAP.
- Experience writing process design documentation.
- Proficiency in database performance, maintenance, backup, and recovery processes.
- Experience with Visio, SharePoint 365, and Rocket Shuttle.
