As a Senior Business Development Manager for Korean Clients in Mexico, you will play a critical role in facilitating cross-border business opportunities between Citi Korea and our clients in Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
Calling on clients and prospects to deepen relationships and proactively owns, responds to, uncovers, and anticipates future needs, roadblocks or risks and expectations. While doing this, builds mid-long term relationships with relevant local decision makers including local Koreans representatives that serve as country managers, CFOs and treasury personnel.
- STRUCTURING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
Introducing solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolio, including Treasury and Trade Solutions (Cash Management and Trade), Markets (FX & Derivatives) and Lending. Working with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' individual needs.
- EXECUTING STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Executing strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels (local, regional and global) while developing strong relationship and communications with global relationship teams at Citi Korea (Parent Account Manager, Global Solutions Sales, etc).
- NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION
Networking with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities. Close collaboration with other CSG SAMs that have coverage of Korean subsidiaries to ensure the above responsibilities are also met in those portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 6-10 years of working experience in banking and finance.
They will possess sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes, as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients. The ability to work effectively in a team setting and coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience is essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
This role is based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and reports directly to the CSG Mexico Head, with strong coordination with the CCB Korea Head or designee.
