About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Controller to join our team at Saint-Gobain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our plant, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical knowledge of plant operations, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production staff, management, and other departments, as well as external stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Controller or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong Excel ability, experience with SAP or similar software, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong leadership and technical skills.
