Overview

The General Manager of Amanvari is responsible for overseeing the pre-opening and ongoing operation of our ultra-luxury boutique hotel. This includes managing a large Food & Beverage operation and exclusive residences. The GM reports to the Managing Director Americas and is responsible for developing and executing an operational strategy aligned with Aman's business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an operational strategy that supports long-term success and aligns with the hotel's vision and Aman's business strategy.
  • Lead all aspects of the hotel's opening, ensuring a seamless launch and immediate operational excellence from day one.
  • Manage relationships with ownership, aligning business objectives with property performance while fostering transparency and trust.
  • Work closely with corporate teams to oversee the management and future development of luxury residences, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail for residents.
  • Lead a dynamic, high-end Food & Beverage operation, ensuring impeccable service standards and maximizing revenue potential.
  • Be a highly visible leader, engaging regularly with guests to gather feedback and ensure exceptional service delivery that exceeds expectations.
  • Drive a sales strategy with clear targets, encouraging innovation in marketing to increase market share and elevate the property's profile in the luxury segment.
  • Champion the growth of our Amansantis by creating personalized development plans for team members and fostering a culture of learning, engagement, and career progression.
  • Actively engage with the local community, representing the hotel as a leader in social responsibility and cultural celebration.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in hospitality or a relevant field, fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus), and demonstrated success in luxury resort management are required. Experience in managing large-scale Food & Beverage operations and luxury residences is advantageous.
