Job Summary

This role provides dedicated financial support to Mexico Operations, reporting to the Global Customer Operations Finance Controller. The individual is expected to contribute fully to the management of Mexico Operation's manufacturing and assembly activities, including financial planning and maintaining strong financial controls for capital expenditure, procurement, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for consolidation of Mexico Operation's monthly financial performance and financial planning processes for all rolling, annual, and strategic financial plans.
  • Ensure high-quality financial forecasting and analysis to maximize labor utilization, P&L absorption, and cash.
  • Manage communication and presentation of financial data, including monthly reviews, forecasts, and budget presentations to stakeholders.
  • Implement cost control policies and processes, including oversight of transfer pricing and costing structures across Mexico Operations.
  • Define inventory plans in conjunction with Mexico Operations Management and manage performance against the plan.
  • Manage and develop the Mexico Operations Finance Team, contributing to the success of the John Crane finance function.
  • Ensure close commercial interaction between finance functions and operations teams to influence business decision-making.
  • Conduct regular reviews of manufacturing and assembly operations to monitor performance and identify focus areas.
  • Assess alignment of operational resources to achieve strategic and commercial objectives.
  • Ensure commercial projects meet organizational needs and receive appropriate financial evaluation.
  • Support ad-hoc John Crane initiatives, projects, or M&A activities as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Operations financial policies and processes.
  • Support Transparent Gross Margin and transfer pricing analyses for statutory account purposes.
