PepsiCo is a leading food and beverage company with a rich history of innovation and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Customs and Trade Analyst to join our team and contribute to our success.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating customs and trade processes for the CARICAM cluster, ensuring timely and compliant execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with customs brokers and transportation suppliers to ensure timely positioning of trucks and compliance with government regulations.
  • Managing daily communications and logistics tasks to guarantee operational continuity for all CARICAM imports.
  • Delivering service and fill rate standards by coordinating export alternatives and monitoring scorecards for finished goods to LATAM, minimizing exporter's liability through effective compliance and communication.
  • Collaborating with planning teams to ensure product availability throughout the region, operating both direct and indirect orders, and coordinating transportation with couriers and local supply chain teams.
  • Supporting all import processes for Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Islands, with a yearly invoice value of 45MM+ USD and 1000+ yearly import operations.
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in international trade and logistics. Key qualifications include:

  • International trade and logistics degree or equivalent experience.
  • Imports and export process and regulation experience.
  • International trade permits/ legal and fiscal knowledge in terms of international trade regulations.
  • International Trade Compliance Knowledge such as FDA, International Laws, and Customs Laws.
  • International Logistics Knowledge such as ocean, air and land transportation.
  • Quality & service processes knowledge, analytical skills to develop and deploy clear reports.
  • English as a must.
  • Multitasking.
  • Negotiation capabilities.
  • Curiosity for learning.
  • Communication skills.
  • Networking skills.
