Maintenance Manager Job Description

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the execution of maintenance tasks and ensure the operability of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coordinate maintenance functions, ensuring equipment support and operability.
  • Supervise preventive maintenance execution, adhering to requirements and schedules.
  • Request spare parts and consumables in advance to facilitate timely maintenance.
  • Support manufacturing operations by achieving departmental objectives and goals.
  • Manage spare parts flow and consumption, triggering necessary purchases for critical equipment.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects, ensuring technical support and process improvements.
  • Train and qualify staff, providing a safe work environment.
  • Prepare root cause analysis reports, KPI monitoring reports, and maintenance records.
  • Follow up on internal and external audit reports, as well as open maintenance actions.
  • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a preventive and corrective maintenance program for equipment.
  • Administer technical staff attendance and manage shifting roles.
  • Coordinate the Plant Ergonomics Program and assist with spare parts and supply purchases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, manufacturing, or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, electronics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with practical experience in tooling and PLC.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance KPIs, Downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and OEE.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CNC Machines hardware maintenance experience.
  • English language proficiency (95%).
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to work under pressure.
  • Availability for time and shift changes.
