Housekeeping Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to guest requests and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain a well-stocked cart with essential supplies and transport it to designated areas. Ensure guest rooms are prepared according to established procedures, verifying vacancy before entry. Replace guest amenities and linens with clean items, making beds and folding towels. Clean bathrooms, remove trash, and check appliances for proper functioning. Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances, dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.

Additional Requirements:

Follow company policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or accidents. Complete safety training and certifications, storing flammable materials properly. Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs. Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, supporting team efforts to achieve common goals.

Physical Demands:

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and exceeding 25 pounds with assistance. Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:
