About the Role

This position reports to R&D/Technology Mgr, R&D Career Programs. Your role involves supporting business operations, collaborating with different teams, and contributing to the company's strategic objectives. You will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by the program manager/corresponding leader and showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and participating in the local Trainee Program.

Work Model and Location

The work model for this role is onsite. This position contributes to the Electrification Business Area in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed.
  • Engaging with ABB leaders including rotation managers and mentors who will help you develop your technical and leadership skills.
  • Aspiring to achieve your career goals at ABB by participating in professional development opportunities including webinars and immersions.
  • Delivering on business results by completing challenging and meaningful assignments in a supportive environment.
  • Participating in formal training to develop personal and leadership skills in preparation for future professional roles.
  • Delivering assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Science and Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • No more than 2 years of work experience (Intern work experience is also considered).
  • The ability to relocate for opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter attitude, grit, and professionalism.
  • Fluency in English at an advanced level.
Estimated Salary

Roughly $60,000-$80,000 per year based on industry standards and location.
