Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will concentrate on enhancing quality performance to achieve operational excellence. This position is highly visible and integral to the succession strategy of the organization. The Quality Engineer will collaborate within the Business Management System to support Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, and the Quality Group (QA Lab and Document Control) in meeting or surpassing customer expectations while maintaining quality standards, minimizing costs, and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate quality-related matters, including product complaints and corrective actions.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Provide internal quality support for issue resolution and product risk assessments.
  • Engage in new product development and maintain quality control standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain Process Flow Diagrams, Process FMEAs, and Control Plans.
  • Assist in the QA lab for product measuring and testing as needed.
  • Manage training programs in Quality Management System (QMS) areas.
  • Conduct quality audits for the QMS, products, and processes.
  • Develop systemic improvements to the plant quality system.

IATF & Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain IATF certification, ensuring compliance with ISO standards. As a member of the top management team for IMS, you will focus on performance, organizational content, leadership, planning, and improvement.

Qualifications:

Experience:
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Certification in quality engineering or management is advantageous.
